PHSOB Bowls Club had the honour of hosting the Opening Ceremony for the Gauteng Open 2025 Under-18 Teams on Saturday, 28 June 2025. The event brought together the province’s most promising young bowlers in a vibrant celebration of sportsmanship and youth development.
A highlight of the ceremony was the raising of the South African flag while the national anthem, Nkosi Sikelel’ iAfrika, was beautifully played on bagpipes—a moving and proud moment for all in attendance. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and anticipation for the competition ahead.
