On 24 September 2025, PHSOB came alive for our annual Heritage Day Bash – the much-anticipated Boere vs Souties Showdown.
Despite the cloudy skies, the atmosphere was electric as 42 teams gathered for a day filled with rivalry, rhythm, and rich South African tradition.
A big thank you to our main sponsor, Perfect Delivery, for bringing sparkle to the event with a magnificent trophy for the winning side! Special appreciation goes to the Perfect Delivery ladies who kept spirits high throughout the day.
Music by Pat had everyone on their feet, creating the perfect vibe to keep the energy flowing.

PHSOB President, Riaan du Randt, welcomed all teams with pride, commended the hard-working committee, and extended a warm welcome to the Royal party from England, who added a touch of elegance to the festivities.
The Boere and Souties rivalry lit up the field in true Heritage Day style, with every game played in the spirit of competition and camaraderie.

The Boere claimed victory for the third year in a row, cementing their dominance in this legendary rivalry.
