PHSOB Bowls Club proudly congratulates Nick Dedekind and his dad and director, Friedel Dedekind, on their outstanding achievement at the 2026 Bowls SA Disability Open, hosted by Eden Bowls in the Mossel Bay area from 11 to 18 April 2026. The championship was played across venues including Hartenbos, Mossel Bay, Vista and Great Brak River.
Nick and Friedel brought home two silver medals, earning podium finishes in both the B3/4 Singles and Mixed Pairs categories. Their results were celebrated by both PHSOB Bowls Club and Gauteng Bowls, highlighting a remarkable national performance and a proud moment for the club.
To compete at this level is already a tremendous achievement, but to return with two national silver medals is a special accomplishment that reflects dedication, teamwork, resilience and skill on the green. Nick’s performance, together with Friedel’s guidance as director, is an inspiration to our bowling community and to everyone who values perseverance and sportsmanship.
